How it works

From sign-up to a live app in minutes.

Suji handles server provisioning, app installation, and HTTPS for web apps. You manage your apps, guest OS updates, and security configuration.

  1. 1

    Choose a starting point

Pick an app that gets you moving fast. You can keep it simple or swap in your own stack later.

  2. 2

You get a VPS you control

We provision the server, give you root access, and wire up the basics so you can stay focused on the app.

    ~2 min

  3. 3

    Add what you need next

Launch one-click apps now, then move into custom Dockerfiles, Compose stacks, or anything else your VPS can run.

    ~3 min for typical apps

Bigger apps take longer.

Platform

The cloud underneath

A full VPS that's yours alone, with its own kernel and root login. Not a shared container.

HTTPS for web apps

Web apps get a Suji subdomain with automatic HTTPS. Other services, such as game servers, use the VPS public IP and their configured ports.

Snapshots

Manual snapshots, EU-stored. Take one before an upgrade; restore from the dashboard.

Web terminal + SSH

Drop into your VPS from the dashboard, or add your own SSH key. Either way you get root.

Provisioning limit

Set a monthly provisioning limit. Reaching it blocks new resources; existing resources continue running and accruing charges. It does not cap your total bill.

Why Suji

What you'd build vs. what comes built-in

A bare VPS can be cheaper, but you wire the platform bits by hand. Suji gives you the cloud layer so you can ship faster.

FAQ

What can I run on it?

Run Linux applications that are compatible with your VPS and fit its CPU, memory and storage. You have root access: start with a marketplace app or install your own services, databases, automations, game servers and AI agents.

Can I install something that isn't in the marketplace?

Yes. Use SSH or the web terminal to install compatible software yourself, including Docker Compose stacks, binaries and scripts. To propose a marketplace template, open an issue or pull request in suji-hq/suji-templates.

How does billing work, hourly or monthly?

Compute uses an hourly rate, charged against your prepaid wallet by the minute with a one-hour minimum per VPS. Monthly estimates assume 730 hours and are not a cap. Volumes are charged for elapsed time at an hourly rate; snapshot storage is priced per GiB-month and billed daily. Stopping a VPS does not stop billing. Terminating it stops compute charges; retained snapshots and volumes continue to incur storage charges until deleted. See the pricing breakdown.

Can I SSH in with my own key?

Yes. Add your public SSH key in the dashboard before creating a VPS, then connect to its public IP. You can also use the dashboard web terminal without configuring an SSH key.

Will my data leave the EU?

VPS regions are in Germany and Finland, and VPS snapshots are stored in the EU. Platform payment, network and email services, as well as apps and integrations you configure, may process data outside the EU. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What about snapshots and backups?

Create snapshots of your VPS system disk and restore them from the dashboard. The default cold snapshot stops the VPS while the image is taken; hot snapshots are also available. Attached volumes need separate backups. For databases, use application-aware backups and test recovery. Snapshot storage costs €0.02 per GiB-month, billed daily at 1/30 of that rate. Optional managed backups create daily system-disk copies, with up to 7 rotating copies, for +20% of VPS compute. They exclude attached volumes and are deleted with the VPS. Keep independent application-aware backups and off-site copies where needed. See snapshot pricing.

Who keeps the OS patched?

You are responsible for updating and securing the Linux OS and applications inside your VPS. Suji maintains its platform services and guest agent.

What does Suji support cover?

For Suji platform or app-installation issues, use Support in your dashboard or email [email protected]. Application-specific support varies by app; check its listed support resources. You manage your app configuration and data.

How do I move off Suji if I want to leave?

Export your application data using database dumps, files and each app's export tools, then recreate the setup on another host. Follow each application's licence and restore instructions. Suji does not provide a portable VPS-snapshot download, so use application-level exports and file backups when planning a move.
